1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using VanityPlateGenerator ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VanityPlateGenerator is an AI-powered tool that generates personalized vanity license plate ideas based on user inputs. The Service provides:

• AI-generated vanity plate suggestions
• State-specific character limit compliance
• Visual plate previews
• Downloadable PDF exports
• Optional user accounts for saving favorites

3. User Accounts

You may use certain features of the Service without creating an account. To access additional features such as saving plates and viewing generation history, you must create an account using a valid email address.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Free and Paid Services

Free Tier: Users receive 3 free plate generations. Free generations are tracked using device fingerprinting technology.

Paid Credits: Additional generations can be purchased through our secure payment system. Credits are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. You will receive an email reminder 30 days before your credits expire. Expired credits cannot be recovered or refunded. Credits are non-refundable once used but unused credits may be refunded within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any credits from that purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access restrictions
• Generate content that is offensive, discriminatory, or harmful
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the AI model
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Resell or redistribute generated content commercially without permission

6. Generated Content

Plate ideas generated by the Service are provided for informational and entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee that any generated plate combination:

• Is available in your state
• Will be approved by your DMV
• Does not infringe on trademarks or other rights
• Complies with all state regulations

Users are solely responsible for verifying availability and compliance with their state's DMV requirements before applying for any vanity plate.

7. License Plate Images and PDF Downloads

7.1 Artist Renderings

The license plate images displayed on VanityPlateGenerator are NOT meant to be perfect replications of state-specific license plates. These are artist renderings only, offered to enable you to visualize approximately how your vanity plate idea will look before you apply for your vanity plate at your local DMV. The fonts, font sizes, images, and positions of all elements will vary greatly from authentic state license plates.

7.2 Personal Use Only

PDF license plate images downloaded from the Service are for your own personal use only. You are not granted a license to share, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit these images in any way.

7.3 Prohibited Use of Printed Materials

DO NOT PUT ANY PRINTED LICENSE PLATE IMAGE ON YOUR CAR OR ANY VEHICLE. The printed materials are not legal license plates. They are for entertainment and visualization purposes only. Using a printed plate image on a vehicle may violate local, state, or federal laws and could result in fines, penalties, or criminal charges.

7.4 Agreement Upon Download

By downloading any PDF or image from the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth in this section. Each download requires acceptance of these terms, and your acceptance is logged for our records.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by VanityPlateGenerator and protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any personal information you provide. You grant us a limited license to use generated content for improving the Service and for promotional purposes (without identifying you personally).

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VANITYPLATEGENERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

VanityPlateGenerator.com and its associates are not liable for any damages to yourself or others due to the misuse of any license plate images, PDFs, or other content generated or downloaded from the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VanityPlateGenerator.com, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, and liabilities, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your use, misuse, or distribution of any PDF license plate images or other downloaded content
• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Any claims by third parties arising from your use of the Service

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
